Who is RISE?
RISE HR is Luke Bohline, an HR guy that loves helping people and working with others to make their lives easier. I've been working in human resources roles for almost 10 years and have a variety of experience and perspectives that I like to bring to each client and project. I think my strengths set me apart with how I approach each client.

I want to get to know each of my clients, their processes, their team, and their vision on a personal level. I can empathize with pain points and tough situations to help partner and create the best results possible. Context means understanding where clients and their processes/systems are at today, and how they got there - as well as how to move forward in a meaningful way to improve them. Harmony across systems, processes, departments, and within teams is something I naturally strive for. Finally, as a Developer, I enjoy training and educating others to build skills and help achieve their goals in their role, using technology as a partner and resource instead of a headache. Clients will not only walk away with a great system set up, but also with the knowledge and materials to be successful once a project is complete.

- Calix - Recruiting Systems Specialist (Contract)
- Evaluated, tested, and implemented a new recruiting workflow in the ATS (iCIMS) to create a more efficient applicant process and reduce recruiters’ time and clicks within the system.
- Oversaw the addition of a new international career portal that allows for a unique application experience for candidates based in China. Worked with CDC team to deliver project on time.
- Designed and integrated team responses to create a new online Interview Feedback Form which allows teams to collaborate online and reduce time spent in post-interview meetings.
- Cleaned, purged, and organized data within the ATS to allow for more effective use day-to-day, as well as optimizing for current and future integrations with other HR and recruiting systems
- Created reports, dashboard panels, and other automations within the ATS to provide insight and clarity for key figures and information on a daily and weekly basis.
- Integrated other recruiting tools such as EmployeeReferrals.com, HackerRank.com, and HireRight with ATS workflow, increasing efficiency and reducing hiring times.
- iCIMS - Implementation Specialist
- Chosen to launch new product offering (Connect) with beta clients, becoming the subject matter expert internally; communicated errors, questions, future improvements and suggestions from clients to the development team.
- Reconciled failing projects and relationships with dissatisfied clients by offering process consultation and unique solutions to meet their needs.
- Created product and implementation training documents to decrease training time for co-workers and to help align best practices for product implementation.
- Veri-Tax - Recruiting Consultant
- Reported to President during weekly meetings with statistical metrics, progress updates, and strategy based on candidate interviews and resumes reviewed to further refine ideal candidate credentials, job postings, and screening qualifications.
- Targeted, interviewed, and successfully hired candidates using online tools such as Craigslist, LinkedIn, and The Ladders while working with a minimal recruiting budget.
